Pray For Dianne

This morning my mother had a scary accident. She was starting to walk with her arms full of clothes down the hardwood stairs, when her foot slipped and she fell. She ended up falling backwards and hitting the back of her head on the stair. Then she proceeded to slide down the stairs on her back, hitting her head on each stair as she went. The ambulance had to come and take her to the ER right away.

Thankfully, it appears at this point that she does not have any brain swelling or spine damage, as they first feared. They also don't see any broken bones. But she is in a lot of pain, and will be for a little while unfortunately. She'll also need to do more checking up on things later to make sure no other muscles, ligaments, etc. were damaged.

If you think of it, pray for her healing and for the pain to diminish. I'm happy that at least there was a friend staying at the house, because my dad was out of town at the time. Otherwise she would have been on her own. Praise the Lord that she was protected from further damage.
