Wanted: Shepherd Position With Good Vision and Dental
I saw this little news blurb this morning:Zagreb- Croatian authorities will launch courses for the country's shepherds in the summer, offering to teach them the finer points of raising sheep, the boulevard daily 24Sata said Wednesday. The courses would, however, be less aimed at teaching than at providing formal grounds to put the shepherds on the taxbooks, the newspaper said.
After acquiring their diplomas, Croatian shepherds - number unknown, but known to be tending to some 500,000 sheep - would finally be allowed to register their profession, meeting commitments and drawing benefits, as in any other job.
